In a regular story, one Game Master plays everyone at the table. In Agent Mode, each character runs on its own AI with a private memory and a goal of its own. You make your move, the characters decide theirs, and a narrator tells you what happened. Nobody knows more than they should.
One Turn, Two Ways
The same moment from a fantasy story, played both ways.
Say“Someone at this table told the baron where we’d cross tonight.”
Traditional
Reads the whole story, every character sheet and every secret, then writes the entire scene in one go: who speaks, what they say, how it ends.
·One mind plays all four.
·It knows Kaelin’s secret while it writes Mira’s lines.
·Nobody’s memory is separate from the story text.

one AI, you read the scene
Weaves the four moves into one scene, sets each character’s expression and the background, and streams it to you.
Private Memories
one per character
Each character writes down the turn as it saw it, and updates its goal.
BBrannoc “Mira says Kaelin met a rider. I don’t like it.”
KKaelin “Mira saw the rider. She’s a problem now.” New goal: deal with Mira before she says more.
MMira “I told Aren. Kaelin looked straight at me.”
VVoss Nothing new. He wasn’t part of this turn.
What Changes For You
Secrets stay secret
A character knows only what it has seen, heard or been told. Kaelin’s deal with the baron lives in her memory alone, until someone catches her.
Long-term character planning
Each character keeps a private goal and carries it from turn to turn, so it can work toward something across many scenes instead of reacting to the last line. Kaelin doesn’t just deflect once; she plans what to do about Mira.
No more crowd scenes
The Character Selector decides who has a stake in the moment. Quiet characters stay quiet, and the right ones step up.
You can read their minds

Good To Know
Agent Mode is available on paid plans only.
An Agent Mode turn runs several AI calls: the director, one per acting character, the narrator, and the memory updates. It costs more coins than a regular turn; the total depends on the models you pick and how many characters act.
Rewinding or deleting a turn also rolls back what the characters remember of it.
With Auto Add Characters on, the director can bring a new character into the scene. From that moment it has its own AI and memory too.
